KAP is a safe, holistic, and effective approach to healing that incorporates both traditional psychotherapy and the use of Ketamine to promote healing through increasing neuroplasticity (creating new neural networks within the brain to facilitate long-term change). Ketamine has a rapidly acting antidepressant and mood-enhancing effects which can begin to take effect within 1-2 hours following treatment and last up to two weeks. Ketamine works on specific receptors within the brain which are thought to help form new synaptic connections and boost neural circuits that regulate stress and mood, resulting in long term healing. KAP has been shown to be effective for a variety of symptoms/disorders, including but not limited to, treatment-resistant depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD/trauma, bipolar disorder, OCD, and addiction.
